I'd maybe go along once or twice if a game was close by, and the admission prices were directly exchanged from what they'd have been in rupees in India to sterling.

Cricinfo reports that South Africa is more favourable because of the weather and Lalit Modi is due to fly out there tomorrow for talks with CSA.

It's also less of a difference time wise isn't it? Makes it even more suitable imo.

will be a complete disaster IMO.

The weather for one is a major negative for playing in April.

Can the ECB guarantee security in the UK?

SKY wont like it, and seeing as though SKY are the only serious broadcaster the ECB has on its books, they would be daft to risk that relationship at the moment.

The only positive is to get some leverage over the Indian Cricket board in the future.

what makes you say that? It becomes an even more high profile target if its in England.

Anyway, the police havent even been consulted by the ECB yet:

Surely any Premier League game or final at Wembley is much more likely to be a terrorist target than a few thousand people shivering watching 22 over paid pre-madonnas.
