Did I hear right during the memorial that apparantly South Yorks have taken responsability for the disaster?

Makes you sick just reading that, especially the bit about Trevor Hicks and his daughters. :( (BTW is he the guy who presented the memorial service yesterday?)

"Accountability has always lain with South Yorkshire Police. The Taylor report was quite clear in where blame lay," said the force chief constable.

"South Yorkshire Police fully accept their responsibility for the Hillsborough disaster.

"The force knows where it went wrong in a flawed operation and the leadership issues that led to the deaths of so many people."

Hillsborough was on ITV3 last night.

I watched 5 minutes and then turned over............I just couldn't watch the rest of it.

It's on Sky+ so I'll try and watch it over the weekend.

I've seen it mate, when it first came on in '96.

But after the events of yesterday, I just couldn't bring myself to watch it.

If a Bradford fan posted about the Bradford fire the post would be treated with the utmost respect.

If the Bradford fan posts 100s of threads about it, he starts creating avatars about it, he starts writing sigs about it, then there'll come a time when people start getting sick of it and tell him to move on with his life.

But there's a huge difference with the way that Bradford City fans and Liverpool fans treat their disasters. Bradford City treat their disaster in a calm and respectful manner. Liverpool have built a grief industry off the back of Hillsborough.
Having been born in Liverpool and spent most of my life in Bradford your talking shiite.
