Just beer money really, but it will pay for my all day drinking session on Monday plus a kebab at night that I probably wont be able to remember eating.

I was going to put a daft pound (only because I had that accy, wouldn't usually do them daft bets) on the draw when Chelsea were 4-1 up, but I had football manager on and couldn't be bothered minimizing the screen.
Wasn't sure how the Leeds game was going as my mates at the game never text back, so thought I would leave it, but yes when it got to 4-3, I was wishing I had backed the draw.

Like I said a few weeks ago, I started an online account as I wanted to see how much money it would save me as I get abit hyperactive on the FOBT's. I do however know the risk and damage that online accounting could cause if not fully self-disciplined.

I haven't been in the bookies for a month and half, and I am in "steady" profit. It's more enjoyable imo as casinos are the most soleless places I have ever been in, and bookies are full of money making gimmicks such as "virtual speedway, wtf".

Apologise for the essay there, really I should of wrote that on one of Mick Gledhills gambling topics, but anyway, anyone backing on the snooker which is starting soon?
I've got 2 pound on Murphy

I think online can make you more disciplined as statements do not lie and you can see what you put on and how you did.

Do much better when I stay out of the bookies myself.

Looking good for the Campbell/Perry backer as does not look a great day for low scoring and no one seems to be making much of a move and steady play in their rounds should see both in a good position to seal you a nice profit tomorrow.

Got to be happy with that... Campbell blew it a bit in those last three holes to drop a couple of shots behind, but still there in 3rd and Perry looking steady as joint leader.

Should be some profit in it for me, how much though is the question.. Ideally I'd like Campbell to win and Perry for a place, but Perry to win and Campbell o place would be brilliant also.. Just happy to still have a major interest on the final day.

Also got six out of six on the football this aft, so things looking good..

Interesting stat that something like 18 out of the last 19 winners were in the last group out so that makes it a two horse race between Cabrera and Perry but I do not think its that simple though both did show good nerves when they might have stumbled at points in todays round.

My pre-tournament chances died when Jiminez went from -2 to +5 in no time so no top European for him :(

Had a good look at the Mares Novices Hurdle at Fairyhouse and had lined up a nice bet each way on Shirley Casper at 11's but opted to top up on Proportional in the Guineas.

Result - Shirley Casper wins and Proportional is turned over in her trial at 1/2

Salford +26 with Laddies, Rhinos haven't clicked all season and unless the team suddenly click tomorrow there's no way we'll win by over 26.
