See emphasis on "football".

Want to slag each other off on a personal level? Do it elsewhere.

Indeed. The vitriolic playground lunacy which occurred in the recently closed thread is synonomous with all previous Footy threads and probably in the real football World too. Why in soccer are there so many chips on shoulders? Everyone associated with Wendyball seems to have swallowed a tub full of "argue barmy's" and driving anywhere near a footy ground on a Saturday afternoon is like a scene from 28 Days Later.

You're all rabid.

What's wendyball? To be fair I'm a big fan of both games, but football is a much more passionate game than RL which is why there is more vitriol even on a messageboard like this.

The other day there was a discussion about how newcastle fans treat people like messiah's.

Up pops mr geordie, shearer avatar, ''location: in the dugout with SIR alan shearer''.

He isn't a 'messiah'. He just so happens to be my favourite footballer, can't think why.
