I don't think that Torres had a particularly good game and until his goal he hadn't caused any real distress to Nited's defence yet Redknapp asserted afterwards that he'd "terrorised" them which is utter balls....it's the sign of a top player/forward that he gets one chance and sticks it away though so fair do's to him for that.

Thing I don't like about Drogba is the aftermath of the dive. The rolling around until play is stopped, then suddenly he becomes the incredible hulk only moments later.

Spot on.

Vidic looks proper dodgy at the moment. Even with harmless balls forward he still seems hesitant. Time for Evans to get a few games I think.

Torres 'played the game', went down at the slightest touch a few times when there was nothing on, thus winning free kicks, came alive when the chance was there, and made rio look a mug, albeit down Vidic's channel.

Mariner wasn't biased, just weak, it was a 'homer' ref performance, the crowd (quite rightly) played their part.

Both centre backs look dodgy. I actually thought Vidic had a decent game, probably his best of the season. He cleared just about everything that came near him. On another day, in another ground he probably wouldn't have got his first yellow. I thought he dealt with the threat pretty easily.

I don't think so.

His red cards haven't come against Torres. Apart from Torres' goal at OT last season, Vidic hasn't had major problems against him, even then the goal didn't come from a threat from Torres as such, just Vidic's misreading of the high ball.

I felt Ferdinand could've been a bit stronger against Torres, and VDS should've covered his near post, either way, that takes everything away from the great ball that was put through for Torres. Superb pass.

His willy shrinks versus Liverpool, so he likes to get an early bath before the rest of the team laugh at him.

Either that or he and Mascherano are "close" friends.

Macherano is starting a habit of being sent off against United now as well, hastn he been sent off 2 in 4 against United.

Liverpool beat us twice last year anyway and made not a differance to the destination of the title, no harm done, just a minor blip.
