Thanks for that I missed it last night because of our game :thumb:

Absolute legend and what a shot to finish with

Is it just me or does Tiger always get the best view of the greats finishing out their last majors?, he was walking down the 1st hole when Nicklaus played his last open at St Andrews and his last US Open IIRC!! lucky sod :)

If anyone deserves to be walking down the first during these moments it's Tiger. Shame to see him playing the way he is lately, hopefully it won't be long before he gets back to somewhere near his best.

All fancy Oosthuiven to win the Open then? Paddy Power are generous on their live odds, 1/5 about the fav. 22/1 Westwood, 28/1 Kaymer and 33/1 Stenson.

To reconcile respect with practicality, what is the optimum speed for a hearse?

If Casey hadn't blown it at the earlier hole (9th/10th?) it might have. Casey's back nine has been dreadful

Well played to Luis Oosthuizen. An amazing display of near perfect golf.

I'd also like to commend the BBC for the best coverage in the world of a golf major. Thoroughly enjoyed the last 4 days. Early morning till late night coverage. No adverts. Interesting snippets. Great commentary. Golf fans paradise.

The footage montage and poetry just now at the end was genius and summed up the history and spirit of golf for me.

Chapeau to the BBC.

Couldn't have put it better, superb coverage everyday. Couldn't fault the Beeb for this one.

Full of knowledge on the commentary team as well. They aired a nice little feature on Tom Watson on the bridge on the 18th from yesterday this morning too. I love the no advert interuption, just pure golf all day everyday. Superb.

Thats the problem with Sky having the Ryder Cup....although I like to think, being an Evertonian, that we're bloody lucky its not ITV, we'd miss the winning putt....

They'll never live that tic-tac moment down them cnuts.

Although SKY have brought sport to life you can't beat the likes of BBC for non-advert screening. Still think Racing, Golf, Snooker etc are all so much better advert free.

I hope to be proven wrong but Casey seems to bottle it as soon as he gets in contention.

If you look at the probability that Oosthuizen will fall away (and if hdoesn't then fair play to the lad) and you put the 'lead' at -6 then there are some brilliant players in with chances. Casey, Westwood, McDowell, Woods, Goosen all have big chances if they can handle the wind. I really fancy a british player (probably McDowell) to come through with their course knowledge.

If the wind blows, I'd expect -6 or -7 to be leading going into Sunday. It's Oosthuziens to throw away though but we saw what happened to Rory yesterday.

I know loads about golf.

Great performance from Oosthuizen. Never headed from Friday onwards in the biggest major there is. Takes a big set of balls that does.
