After game 1 the Hawks & Bruins take 1-0 leads in their series against LA & Pens.

Hawks played pretty well though still lack the edge they had in regular season. The Bruins for me dominated the Pens and totally frustrated Crosby & Malkin.

Be nice to see an original 6 finsl

The Bruins are now 1 game away from making the Finals after dominating the series so far against the Pens. Pens had 54 shots on Tuuka Rask which is more then they had in both game one & two combined.

Bruins fans have their brooms at the ready for game 4.

Still don't understand the hype of Crosby as he has still really yet to produce real quality performances when it matters for me.

Hawks get a split in LA beating the Kings 3-2 to take a 3-1 lead in the series back to the Madhouse on Madison.

Kane at last got a goal and the 'D' stood up well without Keith who was suspended.

Roll on Saturday night, hopefully eliminate the Kings and advance to meet the Bruins in the Final.

Hawks blow a 2 goal lead and allow LA to score with 9 secs left in regulation to take game 5 to OT. After an end to end 1st period of OT step up Toews, Kane & Crawford. Great goal tending by Crawford & great speed & transition in the neutral zone by Toews to feed Kane for the game and series winner.

So an original 6 final with the Bruins

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Boston Bruins it is than......get it won Chicago.

Hawks come back from 2 goals down to take game 1 into OT, then score the winner midway through OT 3.

Gonna be a long series me thinks

Hawks now find themselves in a similar position to the one they were in against LA and Quick in the Conference Finals where they have come up against a team they have found difficult to score against.

I'm hoping for a similar outcome to the way that series went and ended.

Toews & Kane really need to start firing and getting points on the board.

Strange Hossa was a scratch for game 3 as he had been one of the better forwards in games 1 & 2.

Kane really needs to pull his head out of booty and start looking interested in this series or no point having him out there.

Way to go Seabrook!!!!!! Credit to Toews had a great game and took a lot of stick tonight especially from Chara. Just need to take the speed and transition from game 4 into game 5 but cut out the sloppy attempts at clearing the zone.
I hope Coach Q has a word with Kane as he just didn't look interested again tonight.

Great game from both sides tonight, proper play off hockey and now getting chippy.
