Thought I would have seen LGJM bitching on this thread recently, especially after what Liverpool have gone through and Chelsea are currently going through. Seems to have gone right downhill here, no-one posts anymore.

Once united become better than a mid table team, Mark will start posting again

If there is a better footballer, currently, on the planet than Neymar, please show me him.

Manchester United fan boys, please dont say Ronaldo. He would struggle to make the top 5

Very possible. Worst start by defending champions since Blackburn and ugly football could be a disastrous combination under RA.

Wahey! Someone is going to require a username change :D

So Pep to Man City looks nailed on. Just hand them next seasons league trophy already. The most exciting part if you are city fan, is the calibre of player who will want to play for him. Instead of signing the likes of Bony, Demichellis and Sterling, you will be able to attract any player in the world, except for MSN, Rakitic and Iniesta who woudlnt lower themselves

Can Leicester do it? Either way, its refreshing to see two different teams fight it out. Obviously both teams would be nothing more than mid table in a proper league like La Liga where the clubs arent full of mercenaries and actually have identities as was proved by Dortmund dismantling Spurs without getting out of first gear. But its still refreshing none the less

Hopefully, yes. Though i wouldn't begrudge Spurs winning it either, particularly with their bunch of English players. Like you said, a new name on the trophy would be great.

On the subject of England though, it would be a step backwards if Rooney is a starter at Euro 2016

Odd to see references to drugs and football in the press today. Only forty years after Beckenbauer talked about blood doping in his biography, long before it was illegal.

He talked about it in a "look what we were prepared to do to win" way. Nobody had heard of it before. The general line today is that Armstrong and Ferrari, his doctor, were the pioneers. But of course that was decades later.

Meanwhile, there has been no further investigation into Ferarri's "two big clients" in Spain. Cos it wasn't illegal there and there was no compulsion to hand the data over to the local WADA affiliate.

One might almost come to think that where there's muck there's brass.

So if they make a movie about Leicester City, who do you think should play who?

I will start with....

Vinnie jones as Nigel Pearson
Jackie Chan as the owner who's name i won't attempt to spell
George Clooney as Claudio Ranieri
Ewan McGregor as Jamie Vardy

Add suggestions? :)
