Is he at the summit of his powers - his demolition of Sagen today was astonishing - worthy winner of the Tour of Flanders

Thought his demolition of Sagan was superb on sunday. Don't think he'll be as lucky next Sunday on the pave.
Without the climbs he'll be man marked out of the race. I can't see anything other than Sagan sucking wheel all the way into the velodrome and led out to a winning sprint.
This could be a good year if a strong breakaway gets given some distance

Great win in Paris-Roubaix today. Great race overall in fact, in its own way more exciting than the Milan - San Remo finish for me.

Whatever way you look at it the ride of Cancellara was superb.

You could argue that he had a serious lack of competitors and who knows what would have happened if Boonen of 2012 form had met Cancellara of 2013 form.

But......to me it looked like he realised that the race was going to end up like 2011 where everyone just marked him out of it and we ended up with a surprise winner who nobody was prepared to chase.

So what he did was dropped the guys who were marking him by dropping himself out of the picture. Persuaded everyone he was struggling and then went for it. Great ride.

Then Cancellara made sure when they got to the track he 'old manned' Sep to make sure he would lead out the sprint.

Brilliant majestic ride by him.

Agree totally. He worked them like a Wiley old fox. Its a Shame stybar got knocked out of contention as it would have been an even more interesting ending.
Paris - Roubaix once again showed why I love the classics season so much more than any grand tour
