I didn't fancy us at Notts, but even with the new overseas chappy getting a first-baller, this has gone pretty bloody well so far.

Still, on the bright side, Lancs are well on their way to securing a place back in the top flight. Results are all currently going our way and I'm pencilling in Abu Dhabi for March 2015...

Lancs well on top at Southport, weather looks fair for most of the remaining day and a half, so only a hell of a last innings performance will result in a Hampshire win. I can see them being 9 down at the close tomorrow, mind...

Poor from Yorkshire at Scarborough. Two bad sessions that resulted in a clatter of first innings wickets left us with too much to do.

Ah well, regroup and come back stronger next time around. Pressure is still on the chasing pack to pick up points.
