Wow - nobody has come on here to talk about the cracking race on Sunday? Has everyone given up on cycling since Sir Bradley of Wiggins had his now customary difficult follow up year and Cav is no longer the fastest man on 2 wheels?

Great race. Shame that Cancellara and Sagan didn't go with Nibbles when he had a crack. The changed course this year meant that the classics specialists had to make sure it did not turn into a bunch sprint but that's exactly what it turned out to be (albeit with nearly 300km in the legs).

Well taken win by Kristoff. Cav got himself on the wrong wheel for the sprint I'm afraid and in my view he is a man worried about what kind of racer he is going to be going forward. He has been overtaken by at least 2 sprinters in the peloton in Kittel and Greipel.

Great 3rd place by Ben Swift (2 Brits in the top 5).

Katusha played the game perfectly and a well taken win by Kristoff.

Bring on the northern classics!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the Sky plan for Paris Roubaix. Given the right circumstances it is a race that could be won by an in form Wiggins or Stannard.

No, still very much interested. However, I was at the Salford - Cas game and the recording failed on my Sky+ unfortunately.

Really enjoyed the Volta Catalunya last week though (especially seeing Purito edging out the steak muncher) and like yourself I can't wait for the big Northern Classics to get underway. Should be interesting to see if Cancellara can repeat last year's blistering performances.

At what point will GT fall off....at several points along the way I reckon.

It is a curious race which I think will see Cancellara and Boonen marking each other so well that someone else will go out and win it. Either way I reckon it'll be someone in a OPQS jersey who wins it.
