I did consider starting this on 'Other Sports' but now we have a betting forum that seemed like the best place.

Really looking forward to next week!

I see the bookies are panicking over a Mullins 4-timer on the opening day.

Douvan (Supreme Novices’ Hurdle), Un De Sceaux (Arkle), Faugheen (Champion Hurdle) and Annie Power (Mare’s Hurdle) are all short-priced favourites.

Faugheen shortened for the Champion Hurdle as Ruby Walsh plumps for her over Hurricane Fly.

Noel Fehily has picked up the ride on Kitten Rock.

Rock On Ruby is an absentee from Thursday's Ladbrokes World Hurdle after scoping dirty this morning. Harry Fry's former Champion Hurdle winner was generally a 7/1 shot for the 3 mile race.

We it's here, Day 1 and decent racing ground, Good to Soft, Good in places.

I fully expect the Willie Mullins / Ruby Walsh partnership to be successful today. 3 or 4 winners a distinct possibility.

Awful fall for Annie Power with the race just about won. Thats NH racing for you.

Fortunately, it appears no damaged done except to all those Mullins / Walsh 4-timers.

Day 2 going ... Good, Good to Soft in places.

Champagne Fever is a high-profile absentee from the QM Champion Chase.

One of Willie Mullins 7 declared runners for the Champion Bumper, Pylonthepressure is also a non-runner.

Two back for the home team as Nicholls / Twiston-Davies win the Coral Cup (Aux Ptits Soins) & the QM Champion Chase (Dodging Bullets).

7-4 to the Irish at this stage.
