An unreasonable statement. From the article I read in the press, it sounds like someone at Halifax has agreed, then that agreement has been overturned by Calland. I'm not saying Calland is wrong, if he made a promise to the players then he is right to stand up for his conviction. Looks like a communication issue to me.
