Programme : Sun Mar 06, 2011 1:30 pm
I don't like to be negative after the fantastic display by the lads last night, but whoever is responsible for our programme should hang their head in shame. This effort ( You can't even call it a programme) is an embarrasment to the club, and as a programme collector I would have to say that it the worst ever produced by a professional club. I went to the Milford V Gateshead game yesterday afternoon and what they produced put ours to shame, and this is an amateur side that usually get less than 200 watching. It included pen pictures of the opposition, reports on previous games, details of past cup ties, and amazingly a teamsheet. How you can produce a programme and not have a teamsheet I do not know. I like to know who is playing for both sides, as I would think a lot of people do. If we don't have this then there is no point in squad numbers, as these were brought in for identification. They might as well just have the name on the shirt. If we are going to keep with such as cheap and nasty programme could we please at least have a teamsheet. I thought "game on" was poor, but I now find that I am missing it.
