The Programme sold for £2 was not up to standard.

If any of the directors have seen this, surely they must have realised they were selling a book of adverts.

Do you think people will pay £2 for something similar again?

Had the pages not been so glossy then it could at least of been used to wipe my bum. It was otherwise useless.

Agree totally.

I bought one for the first time in years on Sunday, I genuinely felt ripped off. (No offence at MICKY 1920 who sold me it).

No team sheet, and I've just counted 24 pages of adverts. One page with a piece from Gary Fawcett, one page recruiting for cheerleaders, another for the foundation and couple of pages at the back.

Is there any method of quality control going on at the club? Where are the player profiles and interviews? Why isn't the away coach travel advertised? Why isn't there a team sheet! Why isn't there a fixture list in there with previous results and attendances? A few words from JD giving an insight to the game? What about advertising the clubs merchandise in there? Facebook page? Twitter feed?

Epic Fail.

I had a flick through a copy in the bar. I thought this looks nice and glossy. Then I started looking through it, shocking. And if it cost £2, that makes it worse.

One of the Skolars fans I know said. The programme has improved, then he said, rephrase that, the cover has improved.

It was essentially exactly the same as what we have been getting free, but with a glossy cover, loads of adverts and a price of £2. They must think the Keighley fans were born yesterday. Nobody is going to pay £2 again, so if that is the best we can do they might as well go back to the free sheet.

I agree with all the above, but what is the club to do. Lets try to be a bit more constructive and maybe it will be worth the money. How about some of us submitting stuff for inclusion.

Not take the fans for granted and expect them to part their hard earned cash for something that was like the Keighley Target, only worse.

What like exactly?

I'd love to see something from a fan's perspective in there but would it be the honest truth or would it be watered down by the club as not to offend directors, sponsors etc.

I have volunteered to do a fanzine and write about some of the characters that come down to Cougar Park - some have been coming a long long time, i would take photos etc - and would have put old photos in as well. It could also include what is happening in the local young teams. Have offered. Even sent in fan of the week photo at begining of season...............................

My idea. It should have a Chairmans page and a Coaches page. Then surely it should have match reports from home and away games. Then I would also have a update on the reserves and report on the U18's (who are in effect Keighleys junior acadamy).

this year TO13 have a freebie sheet for each game containing four pages of info mixed with a few adverts - it's handed out at the gate or available to pick up at the bar and is adequate without being too swish.Seems a good gesture by the club at least.
If anyone is interested I can send a copy to someone to give you the basic idea - just pm me with your name & address etc.
