Royal Wedding = ££££££££££

The wedding and tourism for this are relatively short term, clearly the government will be making money but in the real world as it is right now means armed forces. and nhs staff job losses are permanent the benefits in this situation are outweighed by the human cost. The royals do actually have a choice once adults to say no I want to be one of the boys yet still rip us off. If times were better I would have no real objections even though a waste of time but to find the money for this is distasteful to say the least. Bear in mind the money is in addition to the civil list money they get Imagine for one minute as has hsppened to my nephew serving in armed forces don,t worry about losing job a celebration of a wedding is better.

Looking forward to sitting down and watching the whole thing.

For once my taxes will be going to the right place. Instead of just being spent stupidly.

So what you're saying is that we shouldn't host an event that will make money for the country because other people elsewhere may lose their jobs?

Do you realise how silly that argument sounds?

My own mother's job is in severe jeopardy due to the cuts, only last week she was served notice that her position was under threat for the third time this year.

Do you not think that this money could actually help to keep her, amongst others in their jobs?

Sorry to hear your mums job is under threat but you do not really believe any money made from today will be used for anything except to line pockets of government or given to bankers to top up bonuses. Thankfully I was able to work and miss the wedding and good luck to them but what charlie and phillip wore to me shows the class divide will never reduce whilst we as a country get a grip of the rpyals and their actual roles everyone is in cloud cuckoo land if they think the royals give a toss.

Im not a royalist, but i believe they do wonders for our economy.The income they generate for this country is without doubt vast.
