Hall of Fame Night : Sat May 28, 2011 4:25 pm  

Martin Wood was inducted into the Hall of Fame last night and the suprise of the night was the induction of Messers O'Neill and Smith. The night was in my opinion a success and well attended. It was nice to see former players and coaches back at the club. If nothing else it will certainly have put some money in the coffers from bar sales. The night would not have been possible had it not been for the hard work of a handful supporters. You know who you are. They have given up many hours of there own time which shows the support base this club has. Well done and Thanks.

The best bit was at the end of the night when the two Micks got on stage and recalled how they started Cougarmania.

Some very, very amusing stories, especially re the signing of Joe Grima.

For the people who missed the Hall of Fame night, you missed something very special. Although a good night with some good video, for me the two Micks and there stories were priceless. Thanks Micky. If Mick O'Neill does perform some PA for the Rochdale game lets hope the club can market this. I'm sure this alone will increase the attendance. COUGARTIME!

Pity that I couldn't make it on Friday but the video is brilliant.

Just one problem though, it seems to stop at 1.03.53 on my laptop and I can't get passed that time.

Is it just me or is there a problem?

If Mick is actually going to do a stint on the Mike for the Rochdale game (as per the video) then the club need to publicise this. Could draw a lot of old fans back.

I would not be certain about Mick returning next Sunday.
Having spoken to him on Saturday he might not be able to due to health reasons.

How right you are.

Mick was/is fantastic in person or on a mic.
He has been a family friend for years.

He was the reason, i went to watch the Cougars in the first place.
