Just been reading on bbc site the rfl have promised not to absndon rugby in Wales which is a good thing if done correctly.

One thing that concerns me is as yet the formation of championship clubs for next season as not been confirmed it could be one division or two, the article says rfl are looking to see if Crusaders can continue in championship, my concern is lets assume we won grand final could we or anyone else be sacrificed to keep Crusaders in the championship.

I would think if Crusaders do continue somehow they should be in our division and that way have derby games with Scorpions.

I assume clubs have asked rfl how it will affect us, I do not care about super league just us.

We have Widnes and Toulouse leaving the Championship this season.

Widnes' spot will rightfully go to Crusaders if they stay in business and choose to play in the Championship so no conspiracy there.

Its not a conspiracy as such I just do not trust the rfl. Surely by now bearing in mind there are only a few games left no one knows for certain what will be decided.

'Fairness' and 'Level Playing Field' are not in the vocabulary of anyone at the RFL.

If Crusaders do come into the Championship and the RFL continue their support then will it be on the same basis as it does for every other Championship club? That and their financial situation are interesting questions that need to be answered and sooner rather than later.

With Widnes and Toulouse leaving, that will leave only 9 clubs in the Championship, unless Crusaders are given a place in the Championship, How many will be promoted/relegated?

If two clubs are promoted to the Championship from C1 and none are relegated, then that will leave C1 with only 8 clubs

Two divisions of 10 is laughable. So why not merge C and C1 so that meaningful and true 'League' fixtures can be played?

If Super League clubs insist that they need 16 'Home' fixtures to exist then why is it so different for the Championship clubs?

Nothing the rfl do nowadays is anywhere near the decent thing, but after reading todays rugby mag there seems to be so much uproar I think heads will roll at top of the tree, not a moment too soon, Richard Lewis in particular comes in for stick for his lack of communication skills. I would not be suprised if they approached Andy Coulson next time

Seriously though should the rfl even consider upgrading another welsh team without winning promotion the rest of clubs outside super league should stand firm against this because if not it will be cougars likely to be affected again.

Swinton seem likely to get top spot so that takes care of 1 place, next in theory should be us, but if rfl poke their nose in we could lose out, folk may think this is nonsense but they have history of not rewarding promotion.

The clubs will tow the line and take the money offered.
Its up to the fans to do something about it.
