Having an up to date website may not bring new fans.

Neglecting the one we have puts out a message that the club doesn't care about the fans and their numbers shall further dwindle.

There are some savings which turn out to be very costly.

Hopefully one of the business brains amongst the directors responsible will get this door closed whilst there are still some horses left to bolt.

Maybe the flip side of that argument is that the club value the fans and have chosen to update fans by video mail rather than the website and have put more money into the playing squad? Don't get me wrong I'd love an all singing and dancing website, but there isn't a massive budget for that job one assumes.

Is it me or should the "New Squad Builder Package" link on the website say what you actually get in the package. There are discounts and offers a plenty that somebody had negotiated. http://www.keighleycougars.com/?page_id=2992 At the moment the page is like a shop with a price , but no product on display. If the offers and discounts are aimed at helping sell the package, then maybe we should put them here.

Wouldnt it have made more sense to have done that out of season? Because the one thing thats for sure is that more people will come looking for info during the season than out of it?

Not asking for the world, I know on the video on 21st of June a new website with fixtures, tables, match day reports is coming. If that is in 6-8 weeks what games will that have on it?

In the mean time it makes no sense to neglect the present website.
How long would it take to put on the 10 or so offers available to people can see what they are getting.

Set a new website up when the season ends

It either needs to be done on a regular basis or not at all. If there are no updates why have a massive advertising trailer outside the ground which actualy says "Keighley Cougars for more information visit the web site" You wouldnt have a sandwich shop advertising bacon butties, but cant buy one when you get in there.

This website if populated correctly is good enough, how many more websites do we have to raise/start?? Its the lack of commitment to the website that is the problem, not the website itself which i think is quite a good one.
