Don't get too carried away you've beat London Skolars but Whitehaven will be a different kettle of fish. They fancy their chances of going the whole way to the Grand Final even if it means playing all their matches away, so be warned.

I've heard a whisper that Swinton could yet face investigation into financial irregularity. This could well be scaremongering by the source I appreciate and don't know how true this is, but if it was true wouldn't this make for a interesting end to the season? Makes the battle for second all the more important.

No we can not relax. It will be a hard game against Whitehaven. Hope theres a good turn out.

All very interesting as Rochdale will want to win, as will Workington and Oldham and Doncaster (who should have an easy victory over Gateshead). Then there's us and Whitehaven.

A lot of 'ifs' and 'buts': Even if Rochdale win they can't overhaul us and neither can Doncaster. Our main problem is Workington. They need to lose - but then again, more importantly, we need to win!

With the worst-case scenario, if we do the unthinkable and lose, we will finish third. As I said, that's unthinkable!
