According to this article they could be relegated. Shouldn't all clubs be punished the same way? Why should they be relegated? We had points taken of us after winning promotion. I wonder, would we have been able to get promoted if we had paid the tax man? Not sure we would, as we wouldn't have had as much money to pay players. Should we have been relegated?

Couple of questions for you...

How soon after gaining promotion did Keighley go into administration?

Did you cheat the salary cap to the same extent as Barrow are alleged to have done?

We went in to administration in the December after we got promotion. So the point could be argued that we got promotion by spending money we didn't have and couldn't afford to pay back. To be honest we probably shouldn't have been allowed to go up.

Just curious.

Maybe an administrator should lock it.

If their directors have cheated then the club will be punished, just a shame it's the fans that suffer.

Surely common sense thing would be to keep the original and not the duplicated one. Not saying that because I posted the original one question would be same regardless

My view is, any club going into administration after season has finished should not be allowed promotion. Also any club who cheat the SC to the extent that Barrow are alleged to have done, should have all points deducted and any titles won removed.

I have to agree with you rob.
If i was a fan of a team beaten in a play off final. By a team that spent money they shouldn't have. I wouldn't be happy about it.
