Was it just me. Or did anyone else notice, the amount of times the Batley players were using there knees, in the tackle yesterday?

I was more concerned with the "facials" they were giving our play makers.

Batley have always been a hard uncompromising side but I was disappointed with their spoiling approach to the game.

I hope refs get a grip of this type of behaviour.

This is not sour grapes, I just don't rate that style of rugby.

I was very concerned with what i saw yesterday.
Whenever a Keighley player was going in to score a try. Knees were being used.

Someone is going to get badly hurt.

Watch S.L. every week and you will see the knees going in all clubs players do it.

Does that make it right though?

I'll reserve judgement on what happened in yesterday's game until I see the video. But using the legs first, be it feet or knees is dangerous especially when a ball carrier is diving for a try as their head is exposed.

I know there was a clampdown in the NRL with tacklers going in feet first. Maybe it's time to look at doing the same with the knees. Automatic 10 minutes in the bin and an 8-point try should be given for me.
