I personally would like to thank Sam Obst and Korki for the visit to St Stephens School Nursery this afternoon to help out with the sports day. The children are all aged between 3-4 years, they were amazed at the players. The staff really enjoyed having them there and complemented them on their approach with the children. The children enjoyed getting their medals and stickers from Sam and Korki too. This was all arranged quite quickly due to the great British summer weather that we are having, but the players were really understanding and re-arranged their schedule so that they were able to come along for an hour.
I know that they probably wont see this post, I have mentioned it on the cougarmania site on facebook too, but I just wanted to put it on here too, as at the moment with the doom and gloom in rugby league I thought it would be great to have a positive post.
Hi, I don't mind at all, it was a great day, and we had parents the following day saying how much they enjoyed it, and how great the players were with everyone. I think it is important to remember the good things that is being done too.
