did we deserve to win promotion?

Just think if we had reached the play off final and lost to a team.
Only to find out they had not played on the same level we had.
The reason is they did not pay the tax man £183k.
That gives them more money to pay players.

I can honestly say if that had happened to us. I would be very angry.

Depends on the reasons for not paying the tax bill.

Where has the money gone?

Has a thorough audit been done?

Has someone paid themselves a big chunk and left the club skint?

Not that anyone will admit to anythin

Yes , you won on the pitch , just as Gateshead deserved to stay in the Championship as they finished above Leigh , you cannot control what happens financially at any club , are you suggesting that Oldham are in a better position than yourselves right now ?

On that logic you'd have to rule Oldham out for doing the same thing.

Which would leave York Rhinos, who save their cheating for on the pitch.

You are right Jim. I don't like it. But more to the point looking at other forums other clubs have been saying this also for a few days. They do have a point. What you say is very true. The boys who were put on the field earnt that win and for me the shine is still there for them. At the end of the day these things don't happen by accident. A task has been neglected and a heavy price has been paid by the club. Whilst I feel somebody needs bringing to task in order to prevent a repeat I also think we have to focus on the future of the club as a longer term thing and years more of good rugby appear to have been secured.

Time to get excited about some quallity matches coming up.

Did we get it? No
