I keep reading about the fans getting behind the team.

So what do you think the fans can do to help.

Will the drum be coming out to play?
How about someone bringing a horn/trumpet?

Can anyone come up with a new song?
Can anyone think of a theme to follow?

Do any of you really think the fans can make that much difference?

I think the fans can make a difference - and we could definitely do with some more songs! So if anyone starts singing anything other than the Cougar roar, we should all join in regardless. We can decide if we want to 'adopt' a new song once we've had a go at it!
Fancy dress is always good, too.

The fans as usual should be as vocal as usual as I think whilst not the largest group of fans we tend to make ourselves heard. The drum was last seen at the grand final and lent to some Halifax fans but has since gone awol. Jim feel free to bring horn/trumpet. Regarding songs I cannot think of any off top of my head. Same goes for theme. One thing is for sure the players will not benefit from any fans that are not at the games, therefore as many folk as possible needed to lift the players when things are not in their favour as much as they get support when we are in the ascendency.

I think fans make a big difference:
The home fans especially in the Turner stand really lift the players when they are attacking that goal line.
Even a small but vocal away following can be heard, I'm sure it motivates the players.

Regarding songs; the spice boys did i right, change all the swear words to something innocent - it has far more impact and can be funny to boot.

How about

Classic spice boys was - "nice to know you're here....nice to know you're hear...now (pause for effect) go home"
