I don't think, i have ever come away from a game, feeling as gutted as i did today.
Halifax were there for the taking. Our stupid mistakes gave them the game.

If they are supposed to be, one of the best teams in our league. Then we really are doing well.

If it wasn't for that -9 points

Couldn't agree with you more 'Guess Who'.

Alex Murphy always used to say that

'if 2 points are offered then take them'

- but, despite Barry's protestations, we didn't and I believe that those decision cost us the game.

Had we taken the penalty in the first half then we would have been further ahead and it could have possibly prevented 'Fax from scoring (which they did from our ensuing mistake).

Some strange decisions by the ref - as usual not favouring us - didn't help either; looked as though the final pass for the last try was forward but, it all goes to show that we are moving in the right direction.

We could have and SHOULD HAVE won!

We must not falter and BELIEVE!

well 1 set of views from 1 side and another set from the other side.

it sounds like the ref was bad or 1 team in the first half and was bad for the other in the 2nd half.

i wasnt at the game so shouldnt really be commenting,

i dont know why you would be the most dissopointed you have been leaving a game, you must have known before the game if we turned up and played well they we were going to win easily.

we are a good side i think you know we are a good side, you cant win against Widnes away if you are bad. we are a good side, the form side at the minute, so the 5 successive wins we have had now in the league have all been down to other reasons apart from the fact we are a quality side?????

It's because we know you're a better side than us, our closest rivals and we've come really close to beating you.

5 minutes left, 32-34 we have a try disallowed for a foot in touch that must have been close.

Moments later we're in your 20 and ref gives a knock-on when Chris Baines fumbles but clearly tapped it back before it hit the ground.

We don't touch the ball again, you score tries in the 79th and 80th and we don't even get a bonus point.

well i do think its harsh you didnt get the bonus point, that late in the game, we should have really let you get in the position for 1 though 32-14 up we should have gone on with that.

i would like you to stay up and i think you can if you can be as spirited as you were today.

Well played, we're really making some great strides.

I wouldn't point the finger at the ref though, our errors cost us.

We deserved a bonus point IMO.The lads looked really down after the whisle but i say to them...Hold your heads up high,you were awesome

Great to see the masses from Fax,bet your bums were squeaking.

The referee was bad for both sides, He let Both sides get away with a lot, but for me there were 2 key points that lost us the game.
1. Hutchinson grounding the ball, he bobbled it, If we had scored it We would have gone in front, and Halifax was a bit shaken up to then, what would have happened if we had scored?
2. Wray, instead of tackling the legs tried a shoulder charge and was swatted like a fly, Why is the basic rule of rugby defence rarely used....without legs you can't run.
The team played really well, and we missed SHickell, but we can take a lot from this game and start winning a few.

Great vid and great choice of music.

Re crossbar challenge if you look carefully the 1st attempt bounces up hits post high up and was not far off . Reason for retake was because as I was kicking it the ball fell of tee and so was retaken, the 2nd attempt was slightly embarassing

Onto the vid now, having looked at it again why did the ref even though clearly blew for us to play Jamaine then scores then is pulled back, any idea why.

Shocking decision in my view.
