Was talking Neil Cullen the other day and he asked me to canvas peoples thoughts and opinions on a plan they are hoping to try for next season.

The Club are looking into taking one of the up to date double decker coaches to the longer away trips , eg Cumbria and Gateshead , with the intention of sharing it between team and supporters.

Obviously this would mean a longer day than a normal for the fans but on the longer trips arriving earlier at the ground could mean the chance to have something to eat before the games as well as a few beverages....

Personally think it could be a few cracking days out but what are everyone elses thoughts ?

Sounds like a very good idea to me. I am sure they will get enough demand to fill this.

I was looking at the division and thinking that we have some long away trips:

Gateshead
Workington
Whitehaven
London
South Wales

Does anyone know when the fixture list is released?

Think we may (Joe and I) be interested Rach. Sure you could always suggest a pub near each ground. The Wales one might stay over though.

I'd be up for this.

For South Wales I'll probably visit my Grandma in Newport and stop over but for the other it'd be a great help, especially the Cumbrian visits.

Yeah, sounds good. We looked at trying to get a coach sorted once or twice last season, but understandably no-one wanted to shell out a load of cash on the off-chance that we could sell all the seats. Cougars away travel club - bring it on!

Swap Awayday and Regular around and you have an even better acronym Rach.
