Wakefield fans get in for a fiver but must wear their Wakefield shirt

Superleague season ticket holders get in for a fiver (must have assumed Wakefield wouldn't have been granted a Superleague licence)

Joe Bloggs x2 get in for a tenner using a special flyer that includes a beer offer!

am I wrong to feel hard done by for being an actual keighley cougars season ticket holder?

Looks like the keighley season ticket holders will have actually paid more than any other fan to attend the Whitehaven game

It is worth noting that we may not pay cash on the day but we do however pay our hard earned cash up front! - and next season - well who knows........

you are about as funny as Harry Hill. I too am a season ticket holder and am more than happy to buy one. Can you not see the club are trying to get people in who maybe wouldnt come down and pay 11 pounds. I would personally like to see the ground full to capacity and everyone besides season ticket holders all getting in for 1 pound each. If you cant see that the club are trying to atract new and old supporters down there, then dont buy a season ticket next year and just come down when the special offers are available.

Of course I can see that the club are making efforts to get people down to the ground, I am simply pointing out that these and other offers that have been available throughout the season have left the regular season ticket ho  lder out of pocket and that can not be right - can it?!?

Would you really buy a season ticket if you could get in to a home game for £1 - slightly overstated on your behalf I think

do you not remember the posts on here last season when the season tickets were to be sold for £120 when we were dropping a division? (that was £20 more than the championship the season before) - didn't last long that one - bet you rushed to get one though

Ive had a season ticket for 20 years even knowing i will miss matches through holidays etc. I have had meals upstairs and payed for friends knowing they will spend money at the bar. This is the club i have supported since a boy. So roll on next year and another season ticket

I have some catching up to do with regards to having a season ticket for that many years, however I will undoubtedly have a season ticket next year, the year after and for many years to come (or i would have to chop my ARM off - literally! - some will know exactly what I mean by that),

What is apparent from this is that the season ticket holders are the bread and butter of the club, these people provide the club with revenue when it is needed most, when the club are generating very little revenue!, - yet these same people seem to lose out every season to offers there to attract new and old supporters.

Still, there's news of a great season ticket offer on the horizon it seems, just hope it really does benefit the current season ticket holders

Quote "TBH the giants are looking like they will be getting my money next season, and im not the only one leaning this way so whatever the offer it would have to be good!"

Take it you've had a change of heart then?

How do you think people become season ticket holders? By offering promotion's to actually get them down in the first place. Like Mr Hick's says, potential fans may be reluctant to pay £11. I take your point, but think you need to look at the bigger picture.

Perhaps the club could have offered season ticket holders to bring a freind for a fiver!

Lets just say I know Harry-Al-Hill well and this wasn't one of his finest "efforts" I think you got him owned there.

I can see both points of view to be honest. It would have been nice to see something better aimed towards existing fans something like season ticket holders could bring somebody with them for £5 in, tie it in with a data capture exercise. Maybe something innovative? We've more "fans" on facebook than our average attendance, £5 in for all facebook fans who join before a certain deadline say.

The management at Cougar Park have a difficult job, after all, it's difficult to please everybody. Like in any business it's difficult to maintain the balancing act between trying to attract new fans/customers and not alienating existing ones.

That's good idea and one I'm sure will be considered by Rob and the SMT. However, I think it's good that the team are getting out there, being visible in the community which I'm sure will attract some younger fans. The idea too have them at the Keighley show has merits and gets them exposure on a large event. I also feel this is a good offer and could get some families down.

Well done to the club. You can't knock the effort.
