Read in the league express today that the club are after Reardon and Jones

Some signings they would be

Jones has been badly missed this season and a former GB star reardon would do a good job at this level

I think you're right, we could on attract those type of players if we were in the Championship. Jones I agree has been missed this year, but would Reardon be another Halley?

I think there are good things planned for the club, but would assume some of the relies on promotion. Let's face it, we are struggling on that front at the moment.

We now need two games where we show the sort of form we did against Swinton.

cant see Danny jones wanting to leave Halifax tbh and cant see fax wanting to let him go , As for Reardon ???? another has-been like halley.
As for promotion ..... the nearer it gets to the weekend the more i think, if we do beat Rochdale on Sunday ... and thats a big IF !!! Has the team got the balls to 'Man Up' against Worky in the final ?? .
This team has the capabilities of beating Swinton twice so we know how to turn it on against the better clubs ...... but on Sundays showing ???
Now before anyone starts having a pop at me for me not being positive or supportive, I'll be there again on Sunday with everything crossed .
I hope the players want promotion as much as the fans and the club itself ... if they dont ..... well, you better get your hat and your coat ... clock out and **** ***

Think the chance of getting jones back has increased dramatically as Fax have just announced their new half back pairing of Handforth and Thackery.

If you look at the Fax forum there's a fair few fans saying they should get rid of him so you never know.

So if the fax fans arent happy with his performances why should we welcome him back with open arms knowing he struggles to compete in a division above ???

Because when we were in the Championship he was our best player by a very long way and he hasn't always been played in his best position whilst at Fax.

Just out of interest IF we got promoted and IF jones re-signed who would you like to see pairing up with Danny?, would you go with another new signing or would you give smith or coleman a chance?
