I thought generally that was a good game. I think the team has looked the most cohesive so far. There seemed too many errors particularly in try scoring positions. But The team made some brilliant covering tackles and made up a lot of ground fast. So an improvement but more needed. Any comments?
Anybody catch the attendance?
I thought I heard it as around 900, but there didn't seem many more folk there than against Batley so I could may have misheard.
As for the game, I agree an improvement, but marginal. I'm not sure the players put 100% into that and I wonder if, given the dulls teamsheet, it was used as a bit of a training match to try some moves out. Our completion rate in the last 20 of the first half was dire. I thought when the dulls came back into it it was in no small part due to time we were given Briggs to get the kicks away. Our defence looked more cohesive, but there's more to come I'm sure as we approach the NRC.
