I am also surprised only one player from completing squad.

Can we please have confirmed list of who is currently signed on to date. Not sure if missed it but not heard anything about Segar or Pursglove for next season.

I may of missed it but current squad list would be good.

Lots of clubs recruiting well especially Leigh so in for some tough and good games.

There are some positives and negatives with that squad as is stands in my opinion. I don't want to sound negative, but on paper it looks like a weaker squad than last year. I am surprised Jode isn't on there. His defence last season was awesome at times. I lost count of the amount of players he left prone on the floor due to his big hits. When you consider we've lost JD, Korky, Sam and Semi I don't feel on the whole they have been replaced. Hesketh should be good, but he had a dissapointing 2012 having joined Fax. Haley and White will strengthen up the backs, but I see the big hole in half backs.

I assume JD's departure will have meant some salary cap was released as I understand his wage was included. I know Semi was only on matchday terms. Maybe the budget has been cut?

On the positives though, promoting the young guys is great and the club should be applauded. I'm sure they will learn so much from training with the first team and some may even get a run out next season.

Totally agree some of it looks good, but to me still a half back, centre and forward short.

Def need cover in half back as Ryan Smith isn't good enough in my opinion, Paul White and James Haley will be good signings.

TBH I havent heard anything def about Jode for 2013 which is why he wasnt on my original list ..will try and find out

Marchy can always play in the halves and Jamaine spent some of his time at York playing at 6 and young Steady from the reserves is also a half back.

I know I'm slightly biased but see no reason why any of the young lads with a good pre season /early friendlies behind them can't make the step up to the starting 17 , (if Josh Lynham isn't a first team regular by the end of the season I'd be majorly suprised).

I didn't see any reserve games last season, but have heard some good things about the kids coming through. Credit to Jeremy and co at the club for having this impressive conveyer belt system which is clearly working. We've seen the likes of Duffy, followed by Sagar and James H (but to name a few) and now the new breed.

Talked to Marchy today and asked about Jode .
Apparently he's not officially signed but hopefully will be doing shortly and Paul has sees him as part of the 2013 Squad.
