Josh mate sorry but you need to stop being so dismissive of other folks situation it might not be a problem for you but it obviously is for others ....
Yes we have always played on Good Friday , but with an evening kick off ... Traditionally, going back to the textile and engineering companies it has always been that Yorkshire firms have taken Easter Monday and Tuesday off as their two days Easter leave , whereas cross over the border to Lancashire and the Easter Break has been Good Friday and Easter Monday , hence the traditional Wigan / Saints Derby always being a Good Friday Lunchtime kick off ... and when you look at the fixtures Bradford , Batley , Huddersfield and Fev , all the Yorkshire Clubs all kicked off after tea tonight . Only two exceptions Cas , who had had the Sky word and Hunslet who were more looking at coinage from the hoards of Leigh Fans . You might not understand the problem ,but for those fans working in traditional industries in this town who are bound by traditional working practices and could not attend they have a perfectly valid point ..
Personally thought despite this the attendance was great this aft ,not many Knights but credit must go to Marchy with his Foundation hat on , getting the U8s playing before is always going to bring in a plethora of parents , grandparents and other assorted family members all paying on the gate ... genius ..
