Isn't it great? We have a coach who was granted an extended contract by the Board even before he had achieved anything! Where else on this planet does this ever happen? Unfortunately, we're stuck with him until his current contract expires next year, just before the new season starts.
So what will happen with pre-season training and retention/recruitment of players for yet another season in League 1, bearing in mind that Toronto are awash with cash?
His same old excuses come round and round again.
Is it the players or the coach?
I must admit that I was surprised to read that even 'GW' said that 'Today was dreadful'. At last!
We've been told that our coach had sufficient funding to recruit a team that would ensure promotion.
So what is the problem?
I will ask again: Is it the coach or is it the team?
The silence from the Board is deafening!
What's next? Another liquidation?
Can we be relegated from League 1?
Too many questions and not enough answers.
As 'CDC' stated: We really are back to the 80's when the 'Two Micks' took over. The only problem now is that they've gone and there is little hope for the future under this current regime.
OK, I'm a supporter from afar, but I've only been in the deep south for 4 years and before then I and our family were true home and away supporters. It's a pity that 'JD' cannot be cloned. He was brilliant and always gave 110%. You can understand why so many Trinity supporters used to come across to support him.
Sorry for being so negative.
