if you are a regular it doesn't take a lot to know that it is £11 every week so to continually bring no change is far from good planning ( a bit like knowing you are going to use a car park and not taking any change). Another solution if you go in the top end would be to pop into the very friendly Keighley Cricket Club and purchase a can of pop for 55 pence or if it stretches a pint of lager for less than £2 and they will quite willingly give you correct change.

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.

Or the chap / chapess on the gate could ask the half time draw man for change as most people buy that ticket with a £1 coin.

I am so glad this, the top toilet and the smoking is all we can find wrong at the moment. Things really have moved on. Roll on Hunslet, it will be tough but I think we can sneak it with some comitted defensive play.

At the end of the day if i went into a petrol station and put in £11 of fuel and i only had a £20 note would that mean i would pay a tenner. Its a business and its not up 2 the paying fans to go out of there way to get change!

Of they had have left it at a tenner then we wouldnt have this problem

correct i agree, it is not down to the fans to ensure that they have plenty of change when entering the ground. £20 is legal tender so the club should be prepared for this. we do not see the bar running out of change and there are plenty of notes handed over there. i can understand not wanting a lot of change on the turnstiles due to security but in that case then a few extra stewards around them would help this

To be fair , i wouldn't bet on this .... :D I've been behind the bar plenty of times when we have been down to giving 5ps in change .

However in defence of both the bar and the gate , I would say it is remarkably hard to estimate what change you need . I can only speak in terms of the bar (but I'm sure its the same situation on the turnstiles) , but there are some weeks when we look to be overwhelmed with change and then have it all go in a moment as everyone pays with a twenty quid note and others when we are remarkably short of the silver stuff but it all works out OK.

We all (bar, gate & raffle man ) try & work together to keep each other supplied with change , so please work with us ,( I see people in the bar quite often when asked if they've got any change pull out the correct coinage that would pay for their pint ,instead of the twenty pound note they are offering in payment !).

No one is trying to make life difficult for anyone , but to be fair getting change from the bank does cost money , you all put money into the lottery ,
KC Club , Shirts , Bars n whatever , n I'm sure keeping a spare pound coin or two in change to ensure an easy passage on the gate will be no hardship
