I've just spent about 20 mins googling the Championship play-off format and it isn't mentioned anywhere as far as I can see.

This is why it was so important for Dewsbury to win the league outright. Lets face it if we cant figure it out then there is no chance those inbreds would have figured it out.

I think that is right but you will also find that many clubs outside of russia have quite unique names which are usually a reference to the closest town and an animal. e.g.

[Closest Town] - [Animal] or Keighley Cougars,

Not Team 1, Team 2 etc, that would be just silly, even for the RFL
