I am not happy about what has happened and as the saying goes its never a failure just a lesson learnt. I am just sad for the supporters, the team, the hard workers at the club and for rugby in general in the Keighley area that we didnt learn the lesson first time round.

I do not pretend to have "snippets" and "hunches" and a vendetta. I only know that there is not rich pickings in this area for businesses to fund extra curiculum passions and that if anyone is to take on this club they better have a huge pocket of funds, thick skin, love and passion for the cougars because they will need it. Still love you Cougars and thanks.

Sadly, even in my life time this is not the "first time" this has happened!!!! and nothing appears to have been learned in all my years following the various guises of the club.

I read a piece in one of the rugby papers, cannot remember which as I get both.

The article says our chairman has to appeal to the rfl to be allowed on board of any new holding company (keighley cougars 2010).

I am sorry but as this is not the first time we have been in this predicament and whilst not knocking the good work the directors have done they are ultimately at fault for the current situation.

If Neil wins appeal to be on new board then I for one will only pay at gate to watch and support the players but will not go in the bar again as I am very angry that the club is being dragged through the mud again!!!

As stated previously this is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened why reward what is clearly a failure by the clubs hierarchy.

Do they have a "fit and proper person test" like they do in the Premier League?

With all due respect to Neil Spencer, I'd find it hard to see him passing one considering he's the chairman of a club that's going under.

GP, I'd politely ask you to to reconsider not going in the bar because if everyone shared that attitude you'd also be punishing likes of Rach, who would quickly find themselves out of a job.
