BBC Rugby League page, 2nd story. No stories containing clubs outside SL, hardly ever make it onto that page.

That's the reason we were told that we would survive.

That's the reason why we couldn't 'invest' in players.

That's the reason why we had to keep within our 'budget'.

We've heard it all before - and (no doubt) will again until people like Nigel Wood (wasn't he the Financial Director at Halifax before he left for 'pastures new?) and the rest of the crew at Red Hall actually start to believe in REAL Rugby League teams - those outside SOOOOOOOOOOOOPER LEGUE.

Trouble is, that they get no kudos from the real game.

If the Cougars as so deep in the mire then the RFL at HQ should initiate an immediate enquiry into the state of the game club by club just to see how much adverse financial information is being hidden.

I've been a supporter since 1962 and will still be down nexy season come what may.

Hope that everyone else will also.

Some interesting points there.

PS What's nexy? I found a website advertising Table tennis bats - do you know something that we don't??

One thing to point out. Even though i did put the post on here. It was passed to me by the club, something which has been going on for a while.

So if there are any inadequacy's in it, you better take it up with the club.

Jim, I think it would best if we put messagesfrom the club in quotes and state that they are from the club, to avoid confusion.

Never mind the mods, I remember my biking days, we just used to throw them off the harbour at Brid. Mind you that was before political correctness and the AUP.

Having said that, it would have taken half a dozen of us to wang GW, he has become rather rotund
