It was because Panorama implicated his son Darren in some kind of scandal when he was an agent.

Something to do with backhanders if I remember rightly.

In America, he'd be fined for refusing an interview covering a game because it's built in to the tv rights to do them.

Taking performance enhancing drugs. Their attitude to that is very laissez-faire.

Back to being fined (by the league) for not giving post match interviews. The media pay vast sums of money to cover these games, the very least they should expect back is the main man to spend a few minutes to give his thoughts and opinions.

Although hearing "We were $hite today" from Avram Grant after every Portsmouth game is getting a little tedious
