To be fair Briers has played both half back roles through out his career.

When a few of us congratulated Danny on his call up at Keighley's player of the year awards he said he didn't think get a game because Lee Briers was in his postion.

If I thought it would make him stay I would compile a DVD of all his yellow cards and the red from the last two season. It might make Fax drop the offer.

Then again youtube only let you upload 10 minute videos and I might not fit them in.

I think that Barry's influence improved Danny's game but I think he still has more to come. He will need to improve his kicking to touch and be carefull of those long looping cut out passes getting intercepted. It will be interesting to see how he goes with potentially better players around him.
