GW - You have obviously found out something disturbing and distasteful and it appears your knee jerk reaction was you needed to say something, so you have posted it on here without actually considering if it's the right thing to do.
Your thread title gives no indication of the subject matter. What would you say to the parents of a victim who has received successful counselling only to stumble on this and revive all those old "monsters" when all they wanted to do was read about their rugby heroes??? Even one child would be too much, or don't you think so?

If one person reading it, weather that be a parent, who notices there child is withdrawn/quite/suddenly struggling at school. who may just start to realise something is not quite right. Or God forbid a child caught up in something terrible. Starts to think they can ask for help from a teacher, someone in the family who they can trust or a policeman/woman then it has to be worthwhile.
If the subject has moved you so much why didn't you post a help line number/web site right at the start, or get a subject expert to make an informed statement of concern and help? That would at least set the subject off in a serious and professional manner.

Thank God people are allowed to have a opinion.
Quite true, but it's having the nounce to know when and where to use it that's important.
It is a terrible, vile, life changing subject that deserves a level of seriousness that I am not sure a rugby forum can provide. How the hell would you feel if a victim could be identified from what someone said on here? How would the victim feel? How would the parents feel?
