Children! I know we all have a different opinions on how games have gone etc, but I never thought people would end up arguing about how far a pub is away from the station!

Cannot go wrong with a pint of Golden Best in the Boltmakers.

The Cricket Club (top end of the rugby ground) also have a Real Ale on , it varies from week to week.
Some are good, some are indifferent.

Thanks for the reminder about the Regal Trophy.
Could have got our own back and directed you to some of Keighleys more salubrious hostelries.

Especially after a few pints of Real Ale

The Cricket Club at the top end of the rugby ground, the side which you should enter from after being in town, has a guest real ale every week too and is literally 10 yards (yes 10 yards (not 50)from the turnstile)

Wow that's got to be at least 5 perch(s), by the way what is the plural of perch? and are there no fingers or palms in this measurement?

Can't we do this in metric? It'd perhaps be easier!

I took my 800m one but sadly the 760 Leeds bus ran over it just after I'd crossed Cavendish Street and broke it.

It was a shame, that tape measure was like an old friend.

On the train service on Sunday for the Aire Valley, Its a Hourly Leeds-Skipton service, supplemented by the occasional Carlisle/Morecambe. Also the evenhour:34 (1034, 1234 etc) Leeds-Bradford Forster Square connects at Shipley for the Bradford-Skipton which is every 2 hours on a sunday. Bradford-Skiptons use platform 5 at Shipley.

Given its a 2pm kickoff, you probably wont have alot of time to do Skipton.
