Was the spear tackle by Yere ? If so he will get what he has got for the previous 50 - a warning about technique.

Don't know but it was by two players (6 & 11) who both combined and put their hands between Korky's thighs and deliberately lifted him and spear-tackled him into the ground. Watch it again at around 2.30 on MICKY's match highlights and you'll see just how bad it was - not 'appeared to be bad' but ACTUALLY WAS BAD!

No. Number 6 Dane McDonald and number 11 Alex Szostak. From where I was stood it looked like McDonald was the guilty party.

The committee meets tomorrow to decide whether the matter needs to be taken further. In my opinion there's no question about it, especially when you can see that they both lifted Korky by placing their hands between his legs. That said, we'll have to wait and see.

Apparently it WAS NOT a 'Spear Tackle' but a 'Dangerous throw' - that for a player who has been twice cautioned about his technique and told to improve it! Check his indiscipline on the RFL's 'Disciplinary' page.
