I anyone can cast their mind back about 15 years the club brought out a replica of the the 1937 Wembley red shirt complete with woven badge and sewn on 37 numbering on the reverse, in very heavy 'old fashioned ' material (actually lovely and warm for chilly away trips to Cumbria in Feb , mine still gets the odd 'awayday' now).
If I remember then they came in at something like £45 then which would equate I'm sure to a cost of something like sixty quid now

Yes, I remember that. In fact, my one is hanging in the wardrobe right now. For the last few home games of the season, the ones I could get to anyway, I was wearing my Keighley shirt from the early to mid 80s after my Mum found it tucked away in a drawer in her house at Riddlesden. It's the old shirt material and is plain white with a red collar and the scarlet & emerald 'V' on the front. There's no club badge on it, no sponsors names etc etc but for me it's a classic Keighley jersey. And I was so glad to find that, almost 30 years later, despite being a little larger than I used to be as a teenager, I can still struggle into it and just about carry it off. I need to do some work on my man-boobs mind...
