Don't know if Keighley supporters would agree but my view is that there is no way Keighley should put that away shirt design into production. Keighley has no affinity to those colours and the design is stupid IMO.
http://t.co/ARARFLquMp There have been some good alternative suggestions - mainly black shirt with red, green & white trim or mainly white with red & green trim (preferably some form of vee). Surely it's not too late to have a re-think, especially (so far as I know) there was no advance consultation with Keighley supporters. My suggestion for an away shirt (if there really is a need to avoid the club colours of red, green & white for some reason) would be to use the design of the new home shirt and change the red and green hoops to pale blue and white (as recognition of the club colours from up to the 1950's pre the red, green & white era). + add the Keighley Coat of Arms on the right breast. http://www.keighley.gov.uk/cms_media/im ... ighley.gif |
