As always when there is a structure switch in rugby league we seem to be always to fiddled one way or another
Im not going to get into the general dual reg thing but that system has to go if it wasn't in place then all would be fine again another debate
The clubs involved seem to have got off scott free, in my opinion their parent clubs should have been done too. Again it has to be the RFLs fault something like this should have a punishment pre set that cant be argued with be it a fine, points deduction thrown out of a cup etc ect. Like any rule breach.
I think it should stand but it doesn't. So moving on
table now
7 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 44
8 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 42
9 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 39
10 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 39
2 Games left
Lets see there are 4 teams in for the 3 spots remember Workington are not home and hosed and I think along with us they have the toughest run especially with Leigh to play them
Week 1
Leigh .vs. Workington
Batley .vs. Swinton
Dewsbury .vs. Keighley
Whitehaven vs Rochdale
My prediction is that Big wins for Leigh, Batley and Whitehaven
I think potentially our game is the closest for these 3.
Our game is massive, in my opinion it all depends on Dewsbury, The best thing for this points giving back thing ends Dewsburys hopes of 4th leaving them in a tussle for 5th/6th, from what I see play off wise they will be content with either, therefore they wont risk players who don't need risking which looks the case looking at the preview they look to have allot out
Therefore I would predict we have a chance if we play well - As far as safety if we win baring an absolute bashing from fev we will be ok, we NEED A BP, If we lose I can see the table being (points difference aside)
7 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 44
8 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 42
9 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 42
10 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 42
Win
7 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 45
8 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 44
9 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 42
10 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 42
BP
7 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 44
8 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 43
9 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 42
10 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 42
Making it a cliff hanger each way, Obviously if we Dews it gives the driving seat
Last fixtures
Doncaster .vs. Batley
Keighley vs. Featherstone
Swinton .vs.Whitehaven
Workington .vs.Dewsbury
Again with Doncaster getting points back it may aid us, They can now get that coverted top 2 spot So they wont let up I can see them beating batley closely with Batley getting a BP
Same reasons wiv fev I cant see us getting getting owt
Haven will smash Swinton & I think Swinton wiv home advantage will beat Dewsbury
So going from my week 1 tables with those results I think tables could be as such each from the week 1 tables.
If we lose to Dewsbury no BP (final table)
7 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 47
8 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 45
9 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 43
10 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 42
Lose to Dewsbury wiv BP
7 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 47
8 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 45
9 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 43
10 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 43
As long as we don't take a pumling from Fev I think we may just scrape it
BEAT dews
7 Workington 24 11 1 12 432 498 -66 9 47
8 Keighley 24 12 0 12 551 551 0 6 45
9 Whitehaven RLFC 24 11 0 13 500 636 -136 6 45
10 Batley Bulldogs 24 10 1 13 506 563 -57 7 43
I even think with points diff wed make the play offs
A nervy finish for all to be fair - This weeks game is MASSIVE!
