That is the attitude we want the team to have.
We need to learn not only to maintain a lead but to "shut sides down" too. Compassion should be the furthest thing from our minds with the way the leagues are at the moment.
I thought the team did exactly what they had to do, the players looked much sharper and produced some fine rugby. Ash lindsay was like a "pocket Battleship" and deserved man of the match and both halfbacks had fine games. It shows that now the "warm ups" are over, they are able to put their "game heads" on and they and the coach should be pleased with the results.
Bring on Swinton!
On a side note, I thought the live band were very good as was Garry Schofield's after match talk. Its a shame it wasnt 20 mins earlier when the bar was full.
