you tried your best,but where completely outgunned by a widnes team without 6-7 first team players keep your chins up would love to see you do ok this year..

They were way too good for us and bordering Super League standard IMO

They were far too big for us and we got bullied

Only thing we can take from it is that our head's didn't drop until 5 mins from time.

We must sort our discipline out big time. Good field position from giving away penalties must have cost us at least 30 points.

Why do we wish, check out the average over recent years before spouting rubbish. Granted today was down on that but it will be back up to the norm in a couple of weeks.


As for the Cougar fans in attendance today chins up folks, you need to make Cougar Park a Fortress.

To the cougar fans not at the game today whilst outgunned the players made a fantastic effort and should be proud of themselves they came up against a cracking team that will do well.

We will not be playing teams of their quality week in week out.
