What about a balloon race at halftime. Say £1-50 per balloon. All monies to Cancer Research
All balloons sold to be brought on to the pitch at haltime in a net and let go.
The furthest to recive a season ticket , 2 prize a freddie.

In order to attract the locals why not build a green dome on top of the stand to blend in with the area

I understand the crossbar kicking thing is happening, however why kick a crossbar because you will have to jump high to reach it

I suggested to Helen, what about talking to our nice friends at Sunwin/Co-op and asking them to donate a car for us to raffle off over the season.

It's only a small thing but how about a letter from the coach, captain and Freddy to all junior season ticket holders saying thanks etc

Don't rate a balloon race though - might look ok from the Cougar Park end, but somewhere is going to end up with a lot of rubbery litter!

now, here's where it gets "businessy"

You give the band themselves incentive to get their fans to the match. Lets say you find a local band with, say, 1000 fans on facebook. If they have at least a months notice, I'm sure they could get a lot of their fans to come along. Here is the incentive I would offer:

They earn one pound commission for every fan that attends (over previous season's average crowd). So, if you guys averaged a crowd of 600 last season (for example) and the crowd on the day is 1200, then band have earned themselves 600 pounds.

I think this would be a great way to get new and more bums on seats and I'd liketo see a club try it one day....

Sounds a brilliant idea!

Why not approach the Club through their website so that they actually receive it?
