Devastatingly sad news, to lose a young man in the prime of his life, with such a young family. Am utterly heartbroken to hear this and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.



To think we get worked up about winning or losing a game, when tragedies like this put everything into perspective. The fact that he was such a talented, skilful, respected, well-loved and admired player, are absolutely no consolation, when a young guy ends up giving his life, for the game he loves.



RIP Danny Jones. Total respect for you as a man and player. And heartfelt condolences to your family. You will be sadly missed.

Absolutely devastated. Will cherish that drop goal last week forever. Love to his family. Right behind all players and staff at Cougars.We will be at ground tomorrow with a tribute.
