Cougars to secure Cartledge future. : Wed Aug 26, 2009 6:17 am
Back row forward Will Cartledge is expected to become the tenth member of the current Keighley Cougars squad to commit to the club for next year.
It is expected that he will sign a new 12-month deal with the Cougars after training this evening (Thursday).
Will has already agreed terms with Keighley and a new contract would keep him at Cougar Park until at least the end of 2010 season.
Former Batley Bulldogs and Hunslet Hawks forward Will, who lives in Pontefract, has been one of the most consistent performers this year as the Cougars have striven for success in Co-operative Championship One.
Barry Eaton, Cougars’ Head Coach, said: “Will is one of the players we want to secure for next year”.
